I think its only right to help others if you can. I would want someone to help me if I needed it. Some of these Organizations are on a National or Global level and others are local to my area. Either way these are some great organizations that could always use help with volunteers, donations, or just spreading the word.
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation: Northern New England Chapter
The CFF is a national organization. Its the leading organization in research and funding for Cystic Fibrosis. There are Chapters located throughout the US and there are even Chapters in Canada. I did an internship at the Northern New England Chapter in 2009. I loved every second of it! I plan on doing more once I get back on my feet. I love the people and they are doing a fantastic job!

65 RedRoses
65 RedRoses started off as a screen name for a young woman named Eva. She had CF and made a documentary about CF and transplant. The documentary was a huge success and helped spread awareness about CF and organ donation. Sadly, Eva has passed on. But in her memory 65 RedRoses lives on and encourages people to become organ donors. Eva lived in Canada, where many people die every year waiting for organs. Eva, without knowing it, started a huge movement in Canada to make people aware of the need for organ donations. "Don't take your organs to heaven... Heaven knows we need them here" -UNOs

Donate Life America
This is an organization the gives you facts on Organ Donation. It gives you statistics. Its also the place you can register be an Organ Donor. I encourage everyone to sign up. Its a myth that religion doesn't allow you to donate organs, so I hate that excuse. I understand its a personal choice, everyone gets to make their own choice. But please consider it. You won't need your very viable organs once your gone. You can leave a legacy behind. I know I will NEVER forget my donor. They will live on with my help.

Glen Highland Farm
This is a rescue farm for Border Collies. I have a BC so I'm partial to the breed. I ultimately love all dogs but BCs hold a special place in my heart. GHF helps rescue and rehabilitate BCs. All the dogs at the farm get a chance to find their forever home. If they don't find a home, for whatever reason they get to live out their doggy days there. It is a great place and runs on donations!

One
"One is a grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization that fights extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa, by raising public awareness and pressuring political leaders to support smart and effective policies and programs that are saving lives, helping to put kids in school and improving futures. One is nonpartisan and works closely with African activists and policy makers." - Taken directly from the website. I couldn't explain it better. They are asking for your voice, not money.

SUDC Program
SUDC stands for Sudden Unexplained Death in a Child. I have a friend who I known for many years that lost a son to SUDC. Kraig has this to say: "Our son Kalahan died of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) on March 11th, 2001 at the age of 2 1/2. He took a nap, and never woke up." Kraig keeps Kal's life alive in stories he tells. There is a Memorial Page on Facebook in Kal's honor, He is now on a quest to figure out SUDC. He wants and needs answers.
